Daughters of St. Liborius

The Daughters of St. Liborius was formed to encourage sociability among the members, to assist in supporting the welfare of Knights of Columbus Council #14562, and to sponsor some charitable activities each year. The Daughters of St. Liborius meet the third Monday of the month in the Parish Hall. Membership is open to all Catholic women age 18 or older.

Hospitality Ministry

The mission of the Hospitality Ministry is to help the other Ministries of St. Liborius with special occasions, meetings and functions of the parish. We help in getting bakers, setting up and serving along with members of their ministry. Our Ministry’s main activities are the Donut Sundays as well as the Ice Cream Sundae Sundays in the summer. To promote and encourage fellowship among our parishioners at these events.

Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is a worldwide organization for Catholic men who desire to grow in personal spirituality and serve the Church. They are founded under the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. This organization provides men with a vehicle for building up the parish community and family life with an emphasis on family, youth, church, council, and community activities.

Mission: We are St. Liborius Council of The Knights of Columbus #14562, an organization fortified by the Knights of Columbus history and driven by our goals for the future. We strive to maintain the core values of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. Faith is our foundation. We are dedicated to the Catholic Church and her good works. As committed as we are to the Catholic Church, so are we dedicated to helping our community prosper. As Catholic men, fathers and husbands, serving our families is not only part of what we do, it is part of who we are. We provide assistance and support to Knights and their families whenever needed. We assist youth in building a strong sense of civic and religious responsibility. We believe in each other as we believe in ourselves; realizing that by creating a strong, social and supportive council, we help create a stronger future for our order and our parish. It is through these five areas of service- faith, community, family, youth and fellowship- that we truly make a difference.

Men’s Over 30 Basketball

Al Darabaris, 946-9885 | darabaris@comcast.net

The Men’s Over 30 Basketball group was created for recreational purposes over 10 years ago. We play basketball on Sunday nights during the school year at the Mother Teresa Catholic Academy Gym. A fee of $5.00 is collected from those playing and later donated to various Church and school organizations

Parish Picnic

Family, Friends, Food and Fun! That’s what the St. Liborius Parish Picnic is all about. For those new to our community, the purpose of our annual Parish Picnic is to strengthen family ties, establish new friendships, and enjoy old ones. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet and mingle with our entire Parish community. There is food, bingo, face painting, games, and much more. We always need volunteers to provide help with the planning, setting up, working of booths, cooking, and cleaning up after the picnic.

Mission: The Parish Picnic Committee is dedicated to the proposition of fun and fellowship for all. We organize the St. Liborius Parish Picnic and provide food, Bingo, games for the kids, pony rides, carriage rides and fellowship for one and all. While we are a ministry unto ourselves, we are a group that spans many ministries, all working together to provide for the parish on this day of enjoyment.
